Oh, ugh! I’m still sick! And to frost that cookie, yesterday I put my upper back out. Got a perfectly vast shoulder-blade muscle spasm that makes a cough flicking excruciating. God, but it hurts!
Don’t even want to think about what the water and gas bills are going to look like. Last night I stood in the shower until the hot water ran out, trying to loosen the spasm so I could massage it down a little with a tennis ball against the wall. That was after having soaked in the bathtub earlier in the day, an activity that also draws all the hot water from the heater.
Once again, I guess, it was lucky that I did some extra course prep. The two PowerPoints I built to make up for the stupid “alphabaptized” videos will occupy today. How I’ll cope with the rest of the week remains to be seen.
At least today I can talk, though we shall see whether I can do it for three hours straight.
Can’t believe this. What should have been the easiest semester I’ve had since I returned to teaching is turning into a Semester from Hell!
